overdiep 0 Posted February 14, 2013 Pierre, This image is very impressive. It needs to regard several times. I notice contrasts: slow versus fast and life must come to an end versus eternity. The dark colours create a mysterious world of thoughts. Compliments and best regards my friend, Marco Link to comment
kazimir 5 Posted February 14, 2013 Slowly crawling to eternity and an eternity is waiting with a smile.Odlicna kompozicija i materijal za mozak - kao i uvijek. Jos razmatram one dvije prijasnje.Sve najbolje!!!! Link to comment

morophaenixmau 22 Posted February 15, 2013 L'etenità, tutti ci aspiriamo: un sogno, un'utopia? O magari c'è qualcosa di vero ma "completamente" di diverso da quello che il nostro cervello immagina? Bella proposta Pierre! Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 280 Posted February 15, 2013 Maria, what do you expect to be theme and motif of the digital (as you said) art? Computers, digital cameras and cell phones only? PDE Link to comment
richard hans 0 Posted February 15, 2013 Pierre, great idea, nice capture, amazing execution! Best regards Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted February 15, 2013 Really a clever manipulation. I think the background figure also would have been powerful as a stand alone picturel without the turtle (though I think it might have its eye on him for dinner). Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted February 15, 2013 Brilliant as usual. I also like the image in the background. I increased the saturation of the background (using a layer mask) to see if you like it or not. Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 280 Posted February 16, 2013 Thank you Ranga, Richard, Jack and Tony! Jack, that picture of the background exists in my collection as an independent abstract work, again, I used it three times to make other constructions and it generally represents an awkward environment, here for example it represents the eternity as a not very hospitable environment, not very aesthetically suitable to dominating aesthetic and other attitudes about Heaven and such things! And yes, it looks like something which can swallow us all and probably will one day, but will it be so unpleasant and so desperate future...questions, as usually I put questions in my works for I am an ignorant considering the whole as maybe we mostly are, purpose of life, existence, nature of eternity, universe...etc! Tony, you made an almost playful and joyful creature of my obscure and now (when I saw your version) rather pale supposed notion of eternity! I must reconsider the whole stuff! Your version opens not only aesthetic, but also philosophical aspects of the whole thing, there is light in it, there is more hope, at least it is more interesting! Thank you for opening my eyes wider! PDE Link to comment
patspics 5 Posted February 16, 2013 Another imaginative creation. I think the tortoise makes it! Link to comment

poag 0 Posted February 16, 2013 Pierre, your questions, in my opinion, nobody know the answer. The Bible says who and how the Universe was created, but the Bible is narrated in the third person, therefore, who wrote the Bible was not God.We must understand then whoewer who wrote the Bible was witnessed how God created the Universe, or was a big liar who only fools can believe.I think is better ask questions, as you do, rather than invent answer as does the religious. michaellinder 16,612 Posted February 16, 2013 Slow and steady wins the race. This principle applies on the cosmic level as well.Unless my eyes are playing more tricks than usual, I see a face in the center of the frame, which contains a rather sardonic grin. This really is the message of the image - trying to make sense out of the universe leads to funny consequences. Also, I really like the appearance of patterned shapes, almost like the teeth of a set of gears. Another message, Maestro?Outstanding work . . .My best, michael Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted February 17, 2013 So surreal Pierrre!!!! and so many stories within. Your 3D work is very well done! Tony's version does add more dimension to this image. You have a few different avenues to explore now as well. Grande work Pierre!!! Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 280 Posted February 17, 2013 Thak you Pat, Sreten, Ramon Michael and Gail! Michael, seriously said, you are always telling me what I wanted to say with my pictures, in other words said, what my subconsciousness wanted to tell me leading me through the process of creation! You are either the best critic on this site or at least the best viewer! Thank you for your specific and so refined and precious support! PDE Link to comment
