The intensity of the blue sky sets the mood here and makes this rather an attractive composition. I personally find this sort of compositions to be a challenge when I am trying to shoot at all buildings, usually symbols of power in a secular, political or militaristic context. It is almost you can't help but look up and the camera feels distinctly in awe.

That said, I would suggest two things. There is a drying mark on your negative half an inch above the keep. This can be eliminated in Photoshop quite easily. I still shoot a lot of film and this is just one of those things. Secondly, and more importantly, I think the trees are getting in the way in making this a very busy composition. Perhaps your jpeg is a little too soft for the trees to add real substance to the image but a critically sharp image with the trees being slightly more exposed (+0.3 or more) or a zoomed in composition with less of what is on the left and right might have made a retained that sense of awe, but taken away the complexity that is added by the trees.

Either way, this is not an easy piece of landscape so I appreciate the shot as it is as well.
