Climbing on North Face of Bloke

As far as we knew back in '89 we were attempting a first ascent of the

north face of Bloke in the Ak-Su valley of Tajikistan. A squall at the ridge

crest sent us back down a few hundred feet shy of the summit. Shoulda'

gone for it, but I think Mark's headlamp was dead, so we didn't want to

risk a descent in the dark.
