This is on a section of road closed off because of a wash out further on.The icy remains on the centerline is from the successive snow/rain/cold/thaw cycles with some traffic over the unremoved slush, now hard ice and dangerously rutty especially further on where the whole surface is covered.You are right that better observed on the computer.....but still great to be out there to seize.
