Hi John,

A creative street shot using this attractive model.

This could be a real "traffic" stopper.

Nice accomplishment my friend,

Mike

This is hilarious, she looks like she is waiting for a bus. Her facial expression is great and really enhances the image! My compliments to you both!

John,

This is a wonderful specialization that you do.  Ever since I saw the first one that you did, I have asked models to do them here in the Seattle area.  They regard me as nuts.  I guess Paris is different than around here.

Since you have published a whole book, it is time to confess.  Have you ever had any trouble from outsiders?

Regards,

Jerry

Jerry, I have had two minor  "brushes" with the authorities, if you will cal them that. The first time it was a couple of young officers who suddenly emerged from a little park opposite and that I saw standing on the other side of the street. They were delighted at the spectacle and wouldn't go away. I showed my displeasure as I wanted to get on with my photos and moved inside until they left (my front door was very close by)! The second time was on one of the major highways in Paris. The officers in this case from a patrol car advised us on the best hour to do this (illegal activity) without being disturbed .. : -). The advice was between 5 and 6 in the morning, when there is no light, but I thanked them anyway for the advice. As for the citizens, they almost never notice, as you can see in many of the photos. On the truly rare occasion when they do, they will either smile or move away. We did get polite clapping (and no cat whistles) from some workers that we hadn't seen on a scaffolding in New York.

As evidenced from the last page of my book where the models are listed, four of them are from the USA.  I have done this extensively in New York and Vancouver (just above Seattle). Of course one has to be fast and choose the moment,  but I don't see why it should be any major problem. People often  think that the grass is greener on the other side of the fence, but it's only rarely true.
