high key

For me , this works more as an abstract than a traditional high-key portrait.  My old school preferences for high key portraits were to have a very light or white background with the subject wearing very light or white clothing so that the attention went to what was different in the composition---the skin tones and full dyamic range of facial details.  Here the skin tones are the same as the background so what is left are the dark areas of eyes and hair to impact the viewer.  I would like to read some more opinions about how this image has artistic impact for the viewer.  For me, I would like to see nose, lips, chin, more eye detail, cheeks, skin texture and 3-D lighting pattern.
