guillelobera 0 Posted February 6, 2013 The Church of San Pedro El Viejo, is located in the Huesca (Aragón) old town. In its origins, according to archaeological sources, was Roman temple; Visigoth later, then finally Mozarabic and Romanesque. It was founded as a Benedictine monastery at the end of the 11th century. The outstanding feature overall is its Romanesque cloister that you can see a detail in this shot.In this church, declared a National Monument in 1886, the tombs of Kings Alfonso I the Warrior and Ramiro II the Monk (Aragón kings) can be found.
