I liked the shadow of the pistil and stigma but the sunlit was

very harsh, but with the help of Photoshop, I was able to tame the

harshness and present overall softer version.

pretty and sharp for an outside shot. The bright sun allowed you to have higher iso to compensate for any movement - light's not ALL bad! A little more contrast might have shown off the petals veins a little more to further enhance the real aspect, if so desired.
