Sandstone fantasy #3

Textured and iron stained sandstone on Chuckanut Island.

Are these rocks rubbed with some sort of dye? Goldsworthy Style?

Totally natural!!! What you see is what you get.

(oh yeah, the saturation is turned up a little.)

Here is the original RAW image as it came out of the camera. The vignetting is from the ewa-marine housing port. This is a wide angle shot (28mm). The blue on the rock is interesting. It does show up on the RAW image but the saturation increase really brings it and the other color out.

I love it! it a really great pic! it contrasts a lot from the flood of pics.....captures my eyes and mind. :) fairly good composition and colors.

I really can't see it matters how a picture is made. It's the picture that matters!!! And you've done a fine job here!

It does matter how it was made, and the saturation is tastefully boosted, yet stops short of being garrish. The dark spot on the bottom bothers me, and I think I might try to rotate the image and / or crop it out.
