This is a wonderful capture and a very good presentation.

I always enjoy real life scenes of Nature.

Here in Florida, I often see birds perched on poles, wires ,etc. but rarely take any images because I am driving my car.

I watch birds that sit around traffic signals too, on wires, forming formations in the sky.  There is a famous song in Yiddish that has a line taken from a cow bond for market all tied up it's fate sealed looking up at the free birds in the sky. I find myself looking up too when I'm stressed.  The red against the delicate blue and white sky is effective.  I like this, Mari.  Best regards!

What a wonderful contrast between the freedom of the birds and the red light telling us to stop and therefore we have no freedom. The birds are probably laughing at us downthere on the ground. You have seen well.

First, great title; second, great capture! I am always watching the birds on the traffic lights when I am stopped at a red one. There is a particular street in the city where I live named Palm Avenue, which, of course, has palm trees lined up on both sides. There is an intersection on that street where the "Palm Avenue" sign hangs over the street with the palm fronds swaying and the birds sit on the light. Your photo is very enjoyable - thank you for sharing. :)
