big skies Sky over!

Nice sky patterns.  Thought I was looking at a dessert at first glance.  I find it amazing that people go out onto the ice and hang out in these structures fishing.   Thanks for sharing!

At first glance,the view can be deceptive and easily mistaken for a desert scene.Out there though,with temperatures often nearing the -30C stirred by high winds,there is no mistaking.For the most part,the owners/users of these cabins are lobster/crab/herring/mackerel fishermen stranded by the ice cap and keeping their association with fishing by this leisure activity.These small cabins with room for two are equipped with small propane heaters and can be confortable and long hours can be spent here,fish or no fish,but always with a cool beer for company......a bit of a culture thing.Thank you so much for the interest and the appreciation.
