I read your comment on Tatjana's picture of ice skaters on a frozen pond and thought I'd come over to take a look at your photos. I can almost hear the neurons clicking into place as the association with the surface of the moon became apparent. The actual picture is beautifully envisioned and produced, emphasizing the vast spaces stretching to an unbroken horizon. The dark vignetting at the top heightens the illusion of deep space. Now I'll go and take a look at some of your other pictures. Regards, Jack

Thank you for the visit and for the very eloquent take on this scene from my home frozen harbour.The dark vignetted sky is the by-product of using the polarizer on my WA lense at the 10mm end,a feature that many see as rather distracting;it does not bother me and I am glad to see that it does not seem to affect you either.Hope you enjoy the trip to my portfolio.
