Barely Lit

I have had this Kodachrome slide for eons and finally decided to scan it. It is natural light in someone's backyard late in the afternoon. There was some background but I increased the black with photoshop which basically got rid of any residual background. I usually avoid scans especially of old slides. My scanning software can get rid of some dust and scratches but there is a price to pay (perhaps small) with quality. It is fairly manually intensive to clean up these images and it can take me as much as 30 minutes.Because I darkened the background, there was a little less work.

You have unearthed a gem, Tony. Amazing the slide was preserved so well for such a long time and the scanned image came out so wonderfully. The lighting is exquisite. I'm inspired to dig out my collection and see how much of glow is left in them!
