digitri 0 Posted September 12, 2003 Brilliant! The expression in the face and the wind in his feather. We know it's a tele shot but it feels we can just touch him. Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted September 12, 2003 Kim, A super result for your efforts made even better due to the catchlight in his eye. Could have been positioned in the frame a little more to the right in that he's looking left. Best, LM. Link to comment
mmmee 0 Posted November 5, 2003 Nice shot. You have your favourite bird from quite a few different angles. I never see any of these cardinals in my area (Victoria). I must check my bird books to see if they frequent our area. I am having a quick peruse of your portfolio. You have a lot of very good photography in here. I like your Barkersville stuff. Must visit there sometime, although, I understand the staff has been reduced recently and I might have to do without the live actors as guides. But, its a summertime attraction. Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted November 6, 2003 Thanks for all the comments. I like photographing birds and find them challenging, but so rewarding when you get the shot. Barkerville provides a lot of opportunities for photographs and the drive there usually gives some chances at catching bear or moose shots, too. I've been there many times as a child and adult and wanted to take my (Texan) husband there. He loved it! Link to comment
