Stephen,in a field I always like this kind of subject that is attractive to the eyes as engineering construction and how breaks the natural balance.Looking this is interesting how viewer eyes is lead like on a path from left to right and background, somewhere in back left there are few in soft mist.I like texture field and enough sharpness of the trees,I like too the grey gradient of the sky from up to down that somewhere in the middle meet the ground,in fact I saw a symmetry of grey gradient foreground-sky to that middle line. This image is so clean over all and I like this.

I think the square format fits the visual elements in the photo very well. The visual transition is very nice and I like the tiny black frame around the image---it enhances the visual experience.

Radu and Bobby, thanks for your comments.  The road I was on was, for some strange reason, named "Powerline Road."  The telephoto has compressed the scene somewhat, which worked for me, and I cropped it square to fill the frame with poles.

I had fun trying to find a composition that I thought might be interesting or

eye-catching, and I thought a square crop helped. Your comments and

suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

This is when ugly reality turns into great art. Well done.Superb handling of the scale of grey.
