Excellent B&W as always. I think that the model has a special provocative pose that with the lighting and reflections have created an unique glamour ambience. Great work.

John, you are an extremely talented photographer. Your models are always stunning and while there is always sensuality, there is often a certain humour or self-awareness, both in terms of the composition (the invisible hand) and the models themselves- they always seem to have great personality and know that, while the work being made is sexy, it is never smutty.

This one, I am genuinely sorry to say, does not seem to be of your usual very high standard. The model seems cold/uncomfortable and the setting is reminiscent of an "Essex Mansion".

Thank you friends, both those that like and do not like the image.

The setting of course is my home, can't change that . As for the model, a delightful person, her fun loving personality is possibly more obvious in the previous photo posted, than lying on a cold glass table, but the intention in these two images is very different .. http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=16821554 ..  I find the expression above suits the style of photo, but I fully respect that tastes will differ and appreciate being told so. Thank you very much.

It occurs to me to suggest something to you John.  Try taking an extreme close up of the model and the reflection, thereby avoiding most of the room items from the picture.  I think it is really the reflection that is the key to these images.  I upload a crop, but of course do not have the ability to be there to manipulate camera angle so it is a mere suggestion of what you might do.

Regards,

Jerry

It bears no relation to what I am showing Jerry, the configuration of the room, the table and position of the model are an essential part of the construction here, in addition to the mirror effect.

I posted one of many close-ups with reflection that I did recently (and there will probably be others), where I felt that the result justifies it. However, the impact of the original photo is totally lost here with your example, leaving it with little interest in my opinion.
