Thank you kindly.I was wondering about your comment on the paint until I read your note on my other post of yesterday.

Thank you so much. The sky was good on this day and I resisted going with color which is my natural inkling on this type of scene.

With this kind of scene you must try more often bw version,I like the sky and those clouds and feeling of leaning from left to right, was this cause of 10-20 lens you used?,lot of possibility for this seascape to have a variety of grey tones I think, hope to see more.

Thank you for the kind observation.The10mm is responsible for the lean which is further exagerated by the ski-platform which is stored against the back of the shack at an angle. As I noted beforehand,my preference is for color but based on such appreciation, I must look at using more B/W conversions at the same time as I get accustomed to my new computer and PP program.

It is ice fishing for smelt;the commercial fisermen use the nets on open ice.The shacks are used for line or spear fishing through a hole  in the ice and this is mostly done for personal leisure as the catch is rather modest.Thank you for the kind comment.

Really a beautifully produced picture; the tones are impeccable. The clouds actually seem to be exerting their force on the ice house, pulling it towards them.
