Fine to record the view, very difficult exposure - you got the bushes well, but that washed out the sky too much for my taste. Would HDR have worked? I'm not sure.

Jim,

I've taken the washed out sky for granted.

Basically, this shot against the sun light is a technical no no ;-) But what to do when you're on the run, have little time, and still like to shoot the view. Compromise!

Thanks very much for your critique & suggestion!

cheers

Sam

Beautiful capture Sam. The flowering tree is lovely. The blooms look too large for Bouganvillea. The colour reminds me of trees on Sanibal Island when we were there a few years back. The lighthouse there was very interesting. This is a lovely capture.
