overdiep 0 Posted January 24, 2013 Very clever and creative, Pierre! Nice idea with an artistic working out. ( Some years ago I made a sculpture with the title 1+1=3. If you have three elements and you count 1+1 you get 3. Best regards, Marco Link to comment
John Peri 1,029 Posted January 24, 2013 Well, that is a very interesting concept. I have spent years trying to explain this concept to colleagues, but it is very difficult for them to understand. Nice photo also. Link to comment

alfbailey 2 Posted January 25, 2013 I was never very good at Math so I'll just ignore the statistics and numbers and let you know my analogy instead. It is of course an insect powered melon clock, instead of a cuckoo, a small boy holding a pot of nectar appears on the hour and feeds the bees, motivating them to push the hands of the clock around faster, trouble is that time goes more quickly when they are hungry : - )Superb Imaginative creation!Best Regards Alf Link to comment
patspics 5 Posted January 25, 2013 Again a very creative and imaginative image. Great colours! Link to comment

poag 0 Posted January 25, 2013 I read, long ago, in a publication of American Scientific about neurobiology, that many neuroscientist thought about the mathematicians that they are people that not know what they does and not worry them neither. I don´t know if this is the case. Link to comment

Elstad 7 Posted January 26, 2013 O My... Quite Erotic this is Indeed! The birds and the bees and the pepperment trees on the big Rock Candy Mountain :=} Bravo Pierre, Bravo!-r- Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 262 Posted January 26, 2013 Thank you Grigoriy and Raymond!Raymond, talking of eroticism, this isn't exactly an erotic picture or if it is, as you say, it's more like masturbation for there isn't pollen on the melon and the seeds are too big for the bees to carry them, BTW the bees are wasps here, ha! donev1 699 Posted January 26, 2013 More and more difficult are your puzzles, Pierre. Well, I do not understand you, but let me say what I see - three wasps in “our area”! It is better for us to have here three working bees together in “our area”, but these things never happen here. Best wishes my friend. Link to comment
