Not bad for your first. Try not to center the sun in this case a little off to the right would have removed some of the distraction on the left. In the ratings just be interested in the comments followed by aesthetics. Originality is harder to obtain. As a new photographer you'll develope originality, people on this site will suggest changes. Your other picture is a little more original (legs around me). Overall... good job.
