Very nice image, Bill.

I am a little bit confused because I do not live where this bird is located and I am not familiar with it.  I know that birds have an international common name assigned, which is unique to each species.  I am also reasonably certain that you have picked the right name, but this bird does not have a belly that is red but a head-cap that is.  Is there an explanation for that?

Although not seen in this pic they have a sight about of red on their belly, Be we also have a true Red-headed Woodpecker in are area, and I guess the names were made because of this!
