JamieK 1 Posted January 28, 2013 i'm not sure what makes them work for me, but this one doesn't have it either. best, j Link to comment
iliafarniev 13 Posted January 29, 2013 Eh. I thought it might be a bit too far-out in idiosyncratic kind of way, even for a big dadycane but it's sure o'kay. Link to comment
JamieK 1 Posted January 30, 2013 i think the lens produces blur that is a bit too aggressive, given the highlights. best, j Link to comment
iliafarniev 13 Posted January 31, 2013 I think you are right in judging the shot as such, the sense of aggressive is comming from the place and the sort of architecture they got there. Rather strange spot altogether - as I saw it. Link to comment
AJHingel 127 Posted January 31, 2013 Ilia, it is that type of shots which forces the viewer to open up eyes and mind. The mismatch between the title: "Parking fields", which is concise and factual to the extreme, and the image, which is almost the exact opposite, is a wake-up call to any viewer. Well done. When that is said, the question remains: what are viewer indeed seeing.Personally, I see the image as a critic of our tentatively ordered world of artifacts, a critic of reality as we would like it to be. iliafarniev 13 Posted February 4, 2013 Thanks, folks. Apprecite your kind attention. The way I look at it - seeing have got to be liberal. What is this 'oppressive' anyway -? Where does it come from? Link to comment
JamieK 1 Posted February 5, 2013 i'd say it was the lens not distributing the highlights smoothly. best, j Link to comment
