JeffBryce 0 Posted January 22, 2013 Nice lighting. But something needs to be done about the foreground rock: either give me more or crop it. The problem with showing more is the waterfall would then be in the middle, which it almost is now. So this one might be better cropped to the bottom of the rock on the left edge. Link to comment
SteveH 0 Posted January 22, 2013 Based on the critique above, I wondered what this really nice image would look like if I tried mimicking a lower perspective, as though the camera were at a lower angle and there was more of a sense of depth. So here's my effort through some perspective controls in lightroom. You can be the judge of whether or not it's better. More an exercise in lightroom manipulation than a criticism. Cheers, Steve Link to comment
carlosquandt 0 Posted January 22, 2013 Curiosa, me gusta. Saludos Link to comment
juanpavon 0 Posted January 23, 2013 Thank you all for your time .... Jeff, I prefer the image with the rock, I like how it introduces in the image, while compensating weights. More rock, perhaps, but it would be too protagonist. Without it (the rock), a picture predictable for my taste. The idea of Jeff and Carlos, lowering the point of view, shortening the course of the water, can be good, but would lose the transparencies in the water, which are important for me in the picture. Sorry I did not express myself better in English (maybe in Spanish either; )) ), and thanks for taking the time to analyze the image, it is enriching ; )) Thank you again &best regards !
