SHOULD HAVE FLOWN SOUTH

Nice colour and framing. I like the design with the arching branches and the dove looking at the viewer. I'm not convinced by the brush work. It's too much and too even for snow. Especially since the snowflakes have been frozen as spots due to a high shutter speed. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for your comments, but the snow is real, the only thing done to this picture is the cropping and the colour tone. Even the snowdrops are real.

"....... the eye of the beholder" and all that jazz (smiles). Your larger view presents a beautiful image with outstanding strength in the subject matter ...... the superb clarity and definition in the dove, is commendable and the difuse background does a good job in isolating the "purpose" for the capture.

I like this a lot............ well done

I'll second Grayham's comment, especially with the larger view.  I'm struck at how much isolation you've achieved with the dove despite the light in the background.  Nice work.
