Finally the train moves on. These people have a strange sense of unreality about them, like mobile stuffed sausages with claustrophobic souls. It's a street scene as directed by Tim Burton. And it definitely should be viewed large.

Almost like zombies they move not by their own will but some unearthly force that also gets hold of me and drags me into the photo.

The green traffic light hints at least a "technical" explanation for their movement, but no relief from the eerie feeling the photo conveys.

Impressive!

It could be the moment and mood I am in, but this photo swirles into me.

Maybe specifically the vincinity of the guy on the left, and the "frontal-ness" of the couple in on the right makes me think

(or the
) - but at the same time, harder and softer. There is confrontation, but there also isn't; interaction, but fleeting and hardly noticeable. Observer, and part of the scene.

It's got a kind of magic I like. I'm an observer, but the framing and the scene also make me feel part of the scene, standing in your shoes there.
