alfbailey 2 Posted January 21, 2013 I love the long exposure effect in the water and clean solid lines of the bridge, I also like the dark vignetting, but I'd also be interested in seeing a version with a light vignette too?Compliments & Best Regards Alf Link to comment

graeme_jago 0 Posted January 21, 2013 I really like the image, the long exposure of the water has given the shot an ethereal, futuristic feel, and black and white suits it perfectly. I wonder if it would be possible to take the shot from a position to the left of where this was taken to get the bridge travelling at more of an angle, and covering more of the frame? The only thing I don't like is the heavy vignetting, but then I almost always dislike vignetting unless it's naturally occurring and unavoidable. This image is strong enough to pull in my eye without it, and the vignetting detracts from the lovely clean lines and shapes you've captured, at least for me :-) As I said, this is coming from someone who has a pathological dislike of vignetting at the best of times :-) Link to comment
DGorinstein 20 Posted January 21, 2013 An architectural delight to present this structure in such a way as it appears almost like a fine-pencil drawing. Superb smoothening of water and sky, and lovely play of shadows and highlights with almost complete tonality range. Elegant and refined image. Well done. Link to comment
ndj 0 Posted January 29, 2013 A superb, elegant, composition Volker! I'm not normally a fan of heavy vignette, but I think it works very well in, and may be an integral part of the attraction of, this image. Outstanding work Volker! All the best,Neil Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted March 10, 2013 A very intriguing and beautiful image. I am no engineer and the design and how the bridge is properly supported is a mystery to me. Kudos and Well Done! Link to comment
