I imagine it's hard to shoot bands while they are playing, so many variables and lots of motion. I think it would have been stronger if we could see the whole of the sax. I like to play around with things and got carried away and this was the result.

I like your rendering of the photo. Do I neen all the sax? I don't know. I tend to think not. Some in my camera club would agree with you but to me your mind fills in the missing part of the sax and that seems fine with me.
