I like your thoughtful portrait, but would suggest that a little fill light on the shadow side would enhance it.  Also the light on top his head is very red. Is it a reflection from something above him?

I don't mind the lighting at all and think you handled the glasses well so as not to allow distortion or glare from your lights.  I do find that the few highlights on the left glasses lens and just above the one eye (as we look at him) to be a touch distracting; dust maybe?.  Overall, I quite like it.
