I quite enjoy the scene and your composition.  I get a sense that this might have been sharpened a tad too much or maybe it is just my aged eyes.

Thank you and thanks for the input.  I think that you are correct.  My wife bought me a new MacBook Pro for Christmas...with the retina display...which is truly an amazing step up.   Anyway, I upgraded to Aperture 3 and have been reviewing older images from my Aperture 2 library.

Aperture 3 allows me to go back to the original RAW image and reprocess it in the new software.

This image, taken with the 18-200mm zoom at 1/60th handheld, was not as sharp as I thought...so I pushed it a bit...and as expected, those with sharp eyes pick out the details.

Experimenting with Aperture 3 has been great fun.  Lots of images to review, but my camera is also at the ready.

I like the blue in the reflection.  I would have used a 1 or 2 stop grad to darken the sky and trees.
