Thank you .This shack is the most colorful but also the smallest on this piece of ice.Today,I was back there and was lucky to find the owner who told me this was also his hunting shack (see the blocked windows)which he sets up in a tree for moose hunting.I attach copy of the photo I took today.

This is lovely, Laurent. It's almost 3-D. The colors are quite striking. Strict followers of rules may say the horizon divides the frame into two equal halves but I liked it! Is the shack standing on ice or wet sand? Best regards, Ajay.

Thank you for the visit and the kind comment. You are right about my misbehavior on the proportions, but here adhering to the rules would have meant either cutting into the good sky to preserve the reflection or vice-versa cutting into the reflection;this WA lense is to blame for absorbing this much in the frame. These shacks are sitting on the ice sheet over the harbour;they have either a large slot in the floor or no floor and fishing is through a hole cut into the ice.On the day of this shot,it was way above freezing and the ice was dangerously melting which explains the glazed surface, but the cold has now returned and the ice has regained its integrity.

Meilleures salutations-Laurent
