Landrum Kelly 64 Posted January 15, 2013 URBAN LANDSCAPE: The problem I faced with this series was finding theright crop. I got the wall at right like I wanted it, as well as thereal tree at bottom right. I also managed to frame the white withmore green along the bottom, but IS THE WHITE NOW TOO MUCH? Anycomments or helpful suggestions would be very much appreciated. I amat my wit's end on this one. THIS WILL BE MY LAST EFFORT, AND THEN IWILL LEAVE IT ALONE--UNLESS SOMEONE COMES UP WITH AN EVEN BETTER CROP,one so good I cannot possibly ignore it..--Lannie Link to comment
ndj 0 Posted January 16, 2013 Well I'm no expert on urban landscape by any stretch, but I think this crop is quite pleasing to the eye Landrum. The white serves to accentuate the colors, and the brick pattern gives the entire wall an interesting texture. You've done well I think. All the best,Neil Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 64 Posted October 27, 2013 Thanks, Neil. The difference between this one and the other versions is that most of the white is surrounded by color. I think that it works better this way than having the white areas spill off the "canvas." --Lannie Link to comment
