Hi Ross,  This looks like Alberta or Saskatchewan without the sunflowers. It is a nice expansive image. And, it looks warm on a -7 degree F day here at home.  Like so many of my images, I think it suffers a bit from mid-day sun; would be amazing with deep shadows late in the day.  Might this need a bit more sharpening.  Nice image; I am not criticizing what you have here.

Hi Larry- Thanks for visiting & your comments.. Southern Sakatchewan is the location & is about 50 miles north of the U.S. border,& is the top edge of the great rolling terrain of Montana,& yes, it's midday.Unfortunately,†he image is a bit unsharp & if I take it any further the image becomes a bit rough. It recalls many pleasant memories of standing in spots like this & taking in the endless horizons & the unbelievable vast skies. However, the icing on the cake is repeating the process on a dark moonless night, Lordy! the stars, a visual pleasure never to be forgotten..Such a difference than Southern Ontario, where we reside.Best Regards_Ross
