HI Ranga,

What a coincidence. I photographed this bird two weeks ago in Myanmar and I guess that it is a kind of kingfisher. Do you happen to know its exact name and where did you catch it?

The bird is a kingfisher, but I don't know its exact nomenclature.

It is an occasional visitor near where I live in Chennai.

I have been struggling with a Sigma 500 lens so long, but only after I got the SX50 1200mm am I able to get somewhat decent shots!
