I think this is more of a random snapshot rather than an artistic attempt. I don't like the direct flash lighting only the girls and casting a shaddow behind, I don't like the broad DOF, showing alot of that busy background.

Thanks for your comment - These are candids, so, yes there wasn't a lot of control over conditions. I hadn't even noticed the shadows til you mentioned them. Still thought the kids were cute!
