Thanks for viewing/comments! ... for some reason, the baby Black-necked Stilt

is always a lot more cute than the American Avocet's baby .. to me.

This guy is precious Tm! Couldn't be more than a couple of days old. Love the reflection and the hint of mama in the background.

Thanks Phil! I could not show Mamma since if I do that then we can hardly see good detail of the baby :-)  I can max out the crop and show just the baby but I thought it's better to show how tiny he is with showing just Mamma's leg.

 

Btw, my friend told/shown me the shot of his Mamma walked him from the pond next door to this pond and he barely could stagger then :-)
