Aren't they beautiful? What a magnificant bush. I love how it drapes over the fence-not pruned to death. Ours haven't started yet, but with the rain and warmer weather coming in, it won't be long.

We left Miami in 1982 and I do remember the Doral Country Club area. It wasn't Venezuelens at the time. In fact, I don't recall a population of Venezuelens when we lived there. I really thought this was taken closer to South Dade. Are these poincianas or bogenvillas? They do seem more like poincianas, which are also so beautiful. I do miss the flowers of South Florida, even though we have several varieties in Central Florida. We did love Costa Rica, although my Spanish left much to be desired!!!
