Mark,  Nice composition, repetition, and texture.  My wife and I are considering a trip to Death Valley in March.  This looks like it was taken in mid-day, yes?  I would add more contrast being careful not to loose the texture in the sand or rocks.   Also, the top looks a bit cut off.  Nice image.  Best to you. The starkness of these deeply eroded hills never ceases to amaze me.  I'm not sure if I would crop the top (preferably in-camera); you can scroll up until you have just these hills in the frame, and it almost becomes a semi-abstract.  I think I prefer less in the background at the top, even to the point of losing most or all of the horizontal ridge line.
