Beautiful Reward

Passing storms normally bring strong winds to NH's alpine areas, but this evening was relatively calm and quiet. Nothing better than fresh snow at sunset for photography. The serenity of being alone under such pristine conditions is priceless to me.  It was a long wait in the cold, but these fleeting moments make it worth it.

I really like the gradation in colour and sharpness of the foreground, it kind of puts me right there!  Beautiful Reward Indeed!
