al smith 0 Posted January 9, 2013 Hi very nice portrait great feeling in the eyes, great mouth shape, good light tooNow for the Critique The background behind her shoulder draws the eye away from the subject if it was the same as above her head it would have been better but a minor pointThe left hand i feel distracts from the composition may be if it had been laid flat on the surface she lays on, when a hand is square to the lens it just looks so large, square and "manly", i always try and have a hand edge on or 45 degree angled to minimize thisand last one is personal taste i would have removed the bra strap by ether PS or asking the model just to drop the strap from her shoulder for the shot (beware sometimes this leaves a skin mark that you have to remove in PS anyway)I am sorry I truly like the picture but i could not show one of my clients if things like these glare at me :) and my picture may not have been any better that you one here buts that's what i would have tried to dodont hate me :) _al Link to comment

jerrymat 4 Posted March 5, 2013 I strongly relate to the eyes and the face in general, but I deplore those piercings around the nose and lips. I probably am just too old to adapt but in photos they always look like giant zits to me and I retouch them away.Jerry Link to comment
