Art, decoration, or a form of free expression akin to dogs marking their territory?  I guess to each his own, but I hate to see the charm of these old streets desecrated and the young lady doesn't appear impressed either.  Regardless, and pardon my editorial, you captured this streetscape well....  Mike

My apologies for the previous post.  It is usually my intent to follow the PNet guidlines to offer comments based on photographic merits alone.  That said, photographically I would brighten this a tad with a little more contrast.  I believe that would make the artwork pop...  Mike

Hi ML! Thanks for your comments about this photo. In my opinion, graffiti can be art or a nightmare...it depends on the message (when there's a message) and on the place they are painted...About this specific place (the old part of Lisbon), the streets are very narrow and old and there is not more light that the one shown in the photo...I wanted to show the graffiti but also this environment.
