And what handsome little bird it is.  I am surprised that everything is in sharp focus except for the breast feathers.  That cannot be a depth of field problem because both the head and the feet seem sharp.  Was it a motion problem?

Not sure Jerry, but I have several of this same shot, and it appears to me that there is just not much detail to be captured in the breast area.
