GailAnthonyHarmer 5 Posted January 6, 2013 Exceptional image Leslie! The deep greens of the woods and rock face against the white snow are a lovely contrast. The railing along the trail gives added interest to this excellent POV. Well done. Hope all is well with you and the family, they certainly grow fast don't they? Kind regards, Gail Link to comment
harrylichtman 0 Posted January 6, 2013 Hi Leslie -The fresh snow looks wonderful here. Some things to think about. I am having a dificult time finding your focus for this shot. The stairs and right wall direct me toward the poll of water, but it is rather small and hard to see from here. A bit chaotic. The great thing about snow is it can define textures that are often time missed at other parts of the year. The tree branches blend together and don't seem to help define the focus of the image. Depending on what your visin was, maybe moving closer ot the pool. I often pass by scenes where snow has been stripped from the trees and wait for better conditions. Hope some of my coments help for ideas during a future shoot, half the battle is just getting out there, and you clearly have conquered that! Best in the New Year. Link to comment

lesliejbng 0 Posted January 10, 2013 Harry,Thank you very much for your helpful and insightful encouragements. Hard to get just the shot you want when faced with treacherous footing. I appreciate your suggestions and at times ponder on how to present a scene that has captivated me. I will continue to pursue and try to define my focal point. I am at times in such awe of what is in front of me I think I lose sight of what my vision is! Thanks again for taking the time :) I have been a huge fan of your work for quite some time :)Best regards,Leslie Link to comment
