Rinnensee - 1st Light

Sunrise shot from a glacial lake and a popular day hike from the Franz Senn Hut. Fall doesn't give it the best lighting, but I was happy to see the view after a very foggy and windy afternoon the previous day. After about 1.5 hrs of hiking in the dark, a clear view was a welcomed view. f 16, single exposure.

Rinennsee is one of the many alpine lakes in Austria's Stubai Alps. I

caught this view after an early morning hike from a nearby alpine

hut. Comments welcome.

Harry,

The shores of Rinnensee are always to find a good spot.  You had a pretty sunrise and recent snow on peaks which gives a plus to me.  The glow is stunning.  Some blue hue on the snow patch but I don't think much.  This place with high soft clouds must be on top.

Maybe a few dark on the right.  I like much too the reflection.

It gives me good memories looking for the place for frame into fog and falling granulated snow at times.  6/7.
