I like this, a lot. The bikes fading off into blurry obscurity helps concentrate my vision to the one important bike. Titling it by the name of the bike helps with that, also. And black & white does a great job removing what I'm sure is a riotous mash of colors.

If possible, a shallower depth of field, so that the Reflection bike is the only thing in focus might make the photo even better, though.

I will say that I can't stop looking at it, so overall, I must not be too bothered by the depth of field of issue.

Perfectly defines Dutch composition...nearly everyone is having a bike.. and are using them all at once...;-))

Happy New Year, Ruud! to you and yours.

I really like how the handlebars define a layer that almost looks like the surface of an ocean. The foreground lets us see what is below the 'waves'. Well seen, Ruud, and very well photographed!

Apart from the scribed "REFLECTION" on the bike's frame, the title fits the scene perfectly. The bikes, the BIKE,the great B/W and the skillful composition;this is so YOU!Bravo and I am borrowing this one for my Favorites folder.

A "Reflection", 1 of 16 million ;-).  I'm always impressed with your b/w treatment, but in this shot I'm mesmerized by the overwhelming detail and patterns.  Good stuff...  Mike

If there was one shot that could epitomise Holland, this is the one that would do it for me.  The intricate tangle of cycles are so typical of Amsterdam in particular.  Great B & W tones and fine foreground detail.

Best Regards
