Thirlmere - 23 (best viewed larger)

Wow, I love this old beauty which is spotless to say the least, hats off to the museum curator / workers.  Was it difficult getting this shot?  Sometimes industrial museums are as  dark as the inside of a cow!

Thanks Michael.  The lighting is pretty awkward for most of the exhibits; very strong side light from the glass end of the hall.  These shots however were lit from a window about a third the way along the hall.  Still dark though – ISO 1600 for this one.
