The hunger

Was wondering how you got some much dof, then I noticed the wide angle lens.  Guess they wern't too worried about you.

Thanks for your comment Monte. Indeed, although wild specimens, hunger causes them to partly lose their natural shyness. The image was shot within inches, with me completely  lying on the ground. Actually this was one of the most intense moments I have gone through as a nature photographer.

This is very close - these birds will tear you apart if they wanted to!
