I like the simplicity of the image.... a good, simple, old-fashioned photograph. The soft "veil" (rather than blur) of the image is interesting, as is the pinkish hue you have given it. Nothing simple about the image, nay? All good photos are complex, for which one has to try to go into the mind of the photographer. Well done.

Any time my mom was playing on the piano during my early childhood it put me into a different world. It was mostly soft and tender sometimes very sad or melancholic, she and consequently i developed a love towards expressing ones feeling thru music or in my case ( sadly i never could learn to play the piano ) creating images.

Your final result in this shot immediatelly put me into the room with her a half a century later and i think i still can hear the faint echo of the last notes.

Thank you for giving me " goosies " this cold and not very grey morning. ( I even got a little misty eyed...)

Your extensive portfolio shows your artistic mind in several different ways but i always gravitate towards the abstract or unusual creations.
