A nice candid effort if this was not posed.  Her face seems very saturated to me including the whites of her eyes and teeth.  I made some adjustments to reflect my preferences.  There is no right or wrong here--only opinions and preferences, so your original is fine, as is.

Appreciate the comments & I think both of you are right.  Also, it was in PA, & it wasn't a staged shot.  Just got lucky.  Thanks for looking and advising.

I think you captured the essential element of eye contact really well. This is for me what makes the image work so well. There is a warmth and romance about the image that is rendered nicely in the gentle softness of the girls face.

The less saturated version looks more natural, but I actually think I prefer the original.

very well working street portrait, the girl is natural. about the blur someone said, i think, at my taste of course, that the focus point on the instrument is correct. aleways at mty taste i think too could be better to desautourate the red of the face, most of all becouse the rded touch the white of the eyes
