Winter came indeed -- feeling cold and dark... Your tightly enclosed comp. seems to enhance a bleak sense of frost... It feels like you captured the last few faint rays, before dusk totally settled. (& then hopefully quickly followed the trail at right, towards a warm & cosy fire somewhere :-) Best wishes for a happy & healthy New Year, Radu.

You are also snowed in!The nice brook surrounded by the majestic trees evenly and generously sprinkled by the fresh snow and the solid sky above(more snow coming?) make for an impressive scene which you have turned into an excellent image.Bravo!

Meilleures salutations-Laurent

Such a beautiful scene Radu. I do so enjoy your images of where you live -ALL YEAR ROUND, it is so scenic. Nothing more beautiful than the trees heavy laden in snow. A beautiful spot you found for this composition.

Radu, I can't belive I missed this amazing image. The trees with the snow on them and the pattern they create is wonderful to look at. This works so great for a B&W, I think the B&W is what really gives the wonderful pattern look to the trees. The dark threatening clouds and the peaceful stream winding its way through the snow coved ground makes this scene a dream.  Have a great day!

Hi Radu,

I like the composition, with the stream that creates a path through the snow and then through the forest. The mood is quite oppressive, with the thick layer of trees that hide the horizon line.

Beautiful image, congratulations.
