I don't care if it fits any particular category. I just plain like it. What a lovely stroll with mom. I hope you know these people so you can get them a copy ... they'll probably want it enlarged!! :-)

I'm just dying to walk in that field up ahead. Love the road leading off to the left. I agree with the composition suggestion. A little more up top and a little less below would be a better composition (but only slightly :-) )

I guess Todd can walk there if he likes, but that looks like more of a marsh than a field to me, though I don't want to start a disagreement over such a trivial matter on this website. This is a very comforting picture. My sister and her family love to go to Acadia. There's a geographically anomalous (abnormally northern, I think) tidal pool full of wonders she showed me one time. And my screen-saver is a picture of me and her exchanging Coleman stoves--she wanted the old family 3-burner that I had, so she gave me her 2-burner, which meant I had 2 of those, so all 3 green Coleman naptha stoves are shown in the image--taken in an Acadia parking lot in the rain. And boy, did it rain. It rained so much I wore plastic bags inside my shoes over the socks. But it's sure a beautiful place.
